Phantom Bannerfish, a ghostly shadow in the corals
Phantom Bannerfish, a ghostly shadow in the corals
The aptly named Phantom Bannerfish blending into soft brown corals within a reef crevice. Phantom Bannerfish have two distinctive horns rising up from above thier eyes, as well as a knob protruding from their forehead, giving them a uniquely shaped face. Their soft brown colouring also aides their ability to hide amongst the corals as if they were ghostly shadows.
