Black-sided hawkfish barely discernible from soft corals
Black-sided hawkfish barely discernible from soft corals
Black-sided hawkfish completely still on a reef outcrop formed from hard and soft corals. Black-sided Hawkfish are normally solitary creatures, generally preferring to perch on coral heads, waiting to dart after their prey. However, male Hawkfish often have harems of up to seven females. If the male dies, one of the females of the harem will turn into a male.
Our photo prints featuring underwater photography of tropical fish are printed individually to order.
