Scientific Name: Gymnothorax undulatus
Max. size: 150 cm
Diet: Fish, octopi, crustaceans
Habitat: Reef flats amongst rocks and rubble, lagoons, reef drop-offs
Depth: 9 - 110 metres
Distribution: Indo-Pacific: Red Sea including Walters Shoal to French Polynesia, north to southern Japan and the Hawaiian Islands, south to the southern Great Barrier Reef. Eastern Central Pacific: Costa Rica and Panama.
