Valentinni's Sharpnose Puffer hovering within delicate strands of soft corals along a reef edge, defending its territory from other fish. Both male and female Valentinni's Sharpnose Puffers are highly territorial as the males are haremic, spawning with a different female each day. They have four distinct saddle shaped stripes along their backs and are consequently also known as Saddled Puffer.
